during vs while

今日は“during”と“while”の違いについて説明します。

こちら、よく生徒さんから質問を受けます。

どちらも「～の間に」を意味しますが、違いは明確です！

● duringは名詞句の前に置きます。

I went to Taiwan during spring vacation (名).

● whileは主語+動詞の前に置きます。

I visited many places in Taiwan while I (主) was (動) on vacation.

ね、そんなに難しくないですよね。
